I gave to the Del Mar library, because it's one of the San Diego libraries I've actually been to.

I sent:

Raymond Chandler: Collected Stories (because Chandler is great and I'd hate to think of a library that didn't include him)

San Diego Then and Now by Nancy Hendrickson (because it seems like libraries in San Diego County should have books about San Diego)

and Death by Hollywood: A Novel by Steven Bochco (because it was on their wish list and I think it's funny to give a library a book by Steven Bochco.)
