Hi Pamie,

I just donated Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling and Matilda by Roald Dahl to the Campo-Morena Village Branch because as a kid I always wanted to have magical powers and the only way I could get them was by reading books like these. Of course Harry and Matilda were neglected and tortured on the way to getting super powers, so maybe it was a good thing that I never got them.

I also posted a link on my blog, so maybe the two people who read it will donate as well. My grandmother was a librarian, so I spent a lot of time in one as a kid and I loved it. It makes me sad that some kids might never get to experience the wonder that is the library. This is a really good thing you're doing.
