Pam,

I was talking to my sister, Kathleen, last night and mentioned the book drive. As the mother of 3 smart kids (says the proud uncle), she knows the importance of well-stocked local libraries. So she told me to go ahead and pick out a couple of books and send them for her. So the Lemon Grove Branch is receiving:

Eyewitness: Cat by Juliet Clutton-Brock in memory of our childhood cat Butterball, who also had no tail like one of your cats (Cal? [Yep. -p.])

Princess in Waiting (The Princess Diaries, Vol. 4) by Meg Cabot because of the comment in the wishlist that it was popular with reluctant readers.
