Hi Pamie--

Inspired by the book drive on pamie.com, I donated books one through four
of the Spiderwick Chronicles (The Field Guide, The Seeing Stone, Lucinda's Secret, and The Ironwood Tree) to the Fletcher Hills Library in El Cajon, CA. I grew up in Brooklyn and got my first library card at age 6, as soon as I could write my name; as a child and a teenager I would go to the library every week to get new books to read. I cannot imagine any child growing up without a library to take out books from, or to spend a rainy Sunday at, so I hope my donation is helpful!
