I gave some books to the Oakland library last year and recieved some of the nicest thank you letters in the world. So San Diego needs help? Sign me up.

I sent three items to the Del Mar library - Reading Lolita in Tehran: A Memoir, by Azar Nafisi; Empress Orchid by Anchee Min; and The Eagles - Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975.

I picked the first two because they were listed as must have, and the last one- really, what self-respecting southern California library doesn't have some Eagles? (I guess an underfunded one).

Speaking of books- I got married last year and got a lot of use from this book. My philosophy was not to pay a ridiculous amount for something if the same thing could be had for cheaper somewhere else.
