mortgage candles

Forwarding this on from a friend of mine. Her parents live in the heartland and are about to lose their house, home to Rachel's 5 younger sibs. If you like candles and would normally buy them anyway, please consider buying a candle or some tea lights from Rachel's mom. Thanks.

Subject: Fwd: asking for help

I know I haven't been around for awhile. I know I haven't answered a lot of your e-mails or updated my webpage lately but I've been gone a LOT for the past few months and haven't even been able to get to my computer at work or otherwise to often.

I need your help. My family is going through a really rough time right now. There is a lot of things going on that are creating money issues for them and it's none of their fault. Everything just sort of fell in their laps all at once.

Anyways, my Mom has this candle company. They have wonderful candles and I have a bunch in my house if you'd like to smell them (that is if you live near me). I like them better than yankee personally. My point being this. I need to sell $3,000 worth of candles for her and I need to sell them fast. I don't have any of her pamphlets and I don't know if I have enough candles to do a show with but she has a website on-line. If you have any friends who would be interested please direct them here or here

If I can't pitch in and sell these candles my family might lose their home. Please just take a look.

Thank you,

Rachel

Pam,

This is a pretty cool cause, as these people are literally working their butts off for a personal cause:

They have a blog about it and information about WHY they're doing it and all that jazz.

I thought you might be interested.

(By the way, I found out about it because a friend of mine is one of the riders they keep referring to in their blog; he's just doing it for fun, but they have been riding together for awhile now.)
