When the readers of pamie.com learned that the Oakland Public Library had lost much of its funding and was asking for book donations, the response was overwhelming.

We've donated
almost seven hundred books, CD's and videos to the Oakland Public Library system and are now branching out to our local libraries, starting book drives of our own.

It all started with this May 1st entry.
