According to my
Forerunner 201, in the past six months I've run 147 miles. I've run for over a day straight -- 32 hours and 32 minutes -- for a total of 14,109 calories burned. (That's almost five pounds.)
In 2000, I ran 0 miles in 0 hours, 0 minutes. So while I may not have run even a half-marathon this year, in terms of my own life I've made quite a bit of progress.

She Seems To Have an Invisible Touch:
She reaches in and makes you feel like you've done something wrong, but you're not quite sure what it is, but she's mad and you can tell by the pout on her face that all the free food in the world isn't going to fix. Is it something you did or didn't do? Man, it could be either with a Gilmore woman. Best to just give her everything she wants constantly, with lots of apologies. Maybe order a pizza, too. Rory rips Christopher another new one when he just can't stay away from his baby's mama. Richard's baby's mama's busy looking for a new boo. Boys bore Rory to sleep. Paris observes Ramadan.

A few months ago I was asked to write a piece for
Fresh Yarn. It was the first thing I ever brought to our writing group (which I hope stee starts up again soon). I've been a fan of this site from the beginning and have been anxiously waiting for my piece to go online.
Today it did. Don't forget to go through the
archives. There are some great essays on that site.
