They showed our house to the realtor office last week. All at once forty people dressed in their corporate finest drove up to our house, stepped out of their cars and walked, single-file, through our home. We left as they arrived. It looked like a smart mob, ready to throw the world's lamest party.

I just cooked a Greek feast for Book Club, in honor of
Middlesex. Now I have to go watch
Gilmore Girls and write a recaplet in the next nine hours.
My weekend is covered through other people's words,
here,
here,
here and
here.
Tomorrow I have four meetings. Seriously. If you're one of those people who think I just roll out of bed, sip coffee, watch Oprah and tinker on a laptop for thirty mintues or so before calling it a day, I'd like you to remember I have four meetings tomorrow. I'm only baiting you right now because our Greek feast included wine.
Opa!Hey, I really liked
Middlesex, even if I was the only member of Book Club to actually finish it. It serves me right, as I hadn't finished a book for Book Club in about three months. Four. Probably four months.
I found out that cooking with filo dough isn't as hard as I thought it would be. I made an asparagus thingy that I found in Chris'
Real Simple over the weekend. It called for pre-prepared pastry dough, but they didn't have that at my store, so I improvised. Filo dough, goat cheese, asparagus at 400 for twenty-five minutes. It was a hit.
Hey, maybe it's "phylo" dough. Huh. I'm too lazy to look it up right now because I have to go watch
Gilmore Girls.
